Motor Circuit Evaluation
Motor Circuit Evaluation (MCE) is a predictive, offline maintenance technology that provides comprehensive, portable motor testing for electric motors, whether large or small, AC or DC. It determines the condition of the motor and its power circuit in a short period of time while also diagnosing any impending failure trends, allowing for condition-based maintenance plans which will operate on your schedule.
MCE provides a specific, detailed analysis of motor and circuit condition. It allows for diagnostics on all five of a motor’s fault zones:

This test yields inductive balance, resistive balance, resistance and capacitance to ground as a trendable indicator of motor stator health. The results are also significant indicators useful in the diagnosis of broken rotor bars, eccentricity, and defective or deteriorating motor connections.
